We had a great day and a busy baking afternoon! We made rice krispie apples with a surprise inside for Caden's teachers. Caden chose green for the apples. He helped put the surprise (a mini reese's peanut butter cup) inside each apple and also put all the jellybean apple stems on top! He was a great helper and taster! I love to do baking projects with him - such a willing participant at this age.

Just being cute!
Showing me his favorite apple!
So while Caden was helping me, Emma was also hanging out with us playing in the kitchen and taste testing too. Then she left and this is what I found her doing! She had climbed up onto our dining table chair and was playing with the cookie cutters we have been playing with recently with our new and fabulous play dough - Bubber (check it out)! I loved the look of pure joy on her face as she was sitting there contently playing by herself. She looked like such a big girl to me all of a sudden.
So happy and proud of herself!
