Checking out the new Exploratorium!

The Exploratorium has moved! It's no longer housed in the Palace of Fine Arts...it has moved to a new beautiful location down at the SF piers along the Embarcadero. The new building and restaurant are amazing! Lots of the same favorite exhibits and new ones too. The kids loved it! We loved watching them explore :)

Fun day at Clay Street Park!

We love going to this park.  There are always so many things to explore.  The kids love running around to all the different areas and I love that there is fake grass everywhere and soft surfaces!  This visit, the kids learned how to get down off the climbing rocks by themselves...a big accomplishment!  They also played very nicely together :)

Last day of Hola Kids

Today was Caden's last day at Hola Kids! He's had a fun 2 years, but next year he'll only go to Tiny Giants 5 afternoons a week. I'm a little sad he won't have his Spanish immersion anymore, but he was just so much happier on Tiny Giants days. Anyways...they did a very cute presentation of the Very Hungry Caterpillar. The highlight of the day was releasing real butterflies after the performance!

Little park and Berry Picking

We love this little park! Caden and Emma had a great time playing together and with our neighborhood friend, William. We also picked berries right outside our back door and across the street and then made a delicious berry cobbler! We love life in the Presidio :)

Dentist Visit

We had a great visit to the dentist! Caden did a great job and showed Emma the ropes. Emma's first teeth cleaning was a complete success! She loves to do anything Caden does - so all was great :) So thankful we weren't the parents whose children were screaming because they were afraid! Emma wanted more "magic toothbrush" and of course they both LOVED picking a new toothbrush and prize at the end of their visit.

Nana and Boppa Visit!

We love it when our Nana and Boppa visit! Nana and Boppa were here helping us with our new house - Boppa is amazing and did tons of fix-it projects on the new house before our renters move in.

Nana stayed the night with us and read to the kiddos! They love her so much!

Boise!

Had a super fun visit to Boise this summer! Chris did the 1/2 Ironman again! Only ended up in the medical tent for a little while - for dehydration :) It was a super HOT day! We had a great time playing in the creek, going to the aquarium, swimming at the pool, watching the race, and just hanging out with Grandpa, Ona, Auntie, Uncle Mark, Bennett, Hank the dog and the cats :) The only unfortunate thing about the trip is that I got the stomach flu or maybe food poisoning...so was feeling really yucky the night we got there. Britt and Mark were amazing at watching the kiddos so I could take a nap the next morning.
