He is risen! Hallelujah! We had a great Easter - checked out a new church - St. Johns Presbyterian on the corner of Arguello and Lake Street - and loved it! Although, we have turned into "Christers"
The kids were excited that the Easter Bunny had stopped by our house and hid some eggs for them.

Dying Easter Eggs!
We always have fun dying Easter Eggs! The kids love it and Caden was really into it this year! Caden has also found that he loves to eat hard boiled eggs - a new lunchtime favorite :) Emma's not quite so sure about the taste...

Second Ski Trip
Our Second skiing adventure with the kiddos turned out to be a bit of a disaster!!! We decided to stay at Sugarbowl because it's supposed to be family friendly! We left San Francisco and headed for Tahoe after we gave the kiddos a bath and they were in their pjs around 7:30pm. We arrived to Sugarbowl about 11pm. The kids had fallen asleep in the car, which was our plan. However, when we arrived at Sugarbowl, the only way to the lodge was on a gondola. So we unloaded everything onto the Gondola and hopped in...both kiddos wide awake by now. We got to the lodge about midnight and checked into our room, then had the task of getting the kiddos back to sleep. Finally around 2am, both were back asleep. It was a rough night to say the least. Then we were up early (as usual) and headed for the slopes after we rented our gear. There was a kids part of the mountain with magic carpets and small runs, but to get there was about 20 minutes of cross country skiing - not so family friendly!!! Emma and I asked a guy on the slopes where a magic carpet was (we found it, but it was not running). So I took her on it anyways and just walked up with her between my legs. That was a big pain, so we only did that once, then decided to go down the cross country slope, where we would surely be able to find a lift back up to the top. To my dismay, there were no lifts anywhere, so we had to trudge back up the hill we had just skied down. I had my skis, Emma's skis and both of our poles, plus Emma girl, who was not thrilled about walking in the snow with her ski boots on, so wanted me to carry her up the mountain. So...I'd carry Emma up to a place on the mountain, usually by a big pole, then I'd run back down and get our gear, set it by Emma, then carry her up to the next pole, etc. until we were back to the top (2 hours later). What a disaster! I've never sweat so much in my life :) Chris also had a disastrous time with Caden trying to get him across the mountain to the bunny slopes. They finally made it, and Caden was in such a crabby mood, that they just went into the lodge and had lunch. Emma and I had stayed back near the lodge, but found a friendly guy who gave us a ride on a snow tractor over to where Chris and Caden were (as I was almost in tears when he told me where he was). Anyways...we called it a day and left that night after dinner! We still had fun with the kids playing in the snow after nap time and lunch! We are hoping to have more luck next year!

Playing at AT&T Park
Go Giants! I found this great opportunity. They open AT&T Park for kids to play in on the weekends. The kids got to go down the big slides in the Coca-Cola bottles and play baseball in the mini-diamond. The best part...it's free!

At the top of the slides!

Made it to the bottom!
