He's head down - week 33

The baby is now head down - which is great! His back and little bum are on the right side of my tummy and all the kicking and moving happens on the left side. Here you can see how he is sticking out on the right. Isn't that cute?

Cat and Paul's Wedding

We flew down to L.A. this weekend to celebrate the marriage of our friend's Catalina (Cat) and Paul. It was great to see a lot of GSB people and catch up with our friends. Lizz, Jennifer, and I went out to breakfast on Saturday morning and ran into Arnold and Gloria Ventura and their sweet little baby girl! It was fun to see them. The wedding was Saturday evening and was nothing less than amazing! They even brought out crazy party hats - it looked like Carnival! The baby really liked the music and dancing too - he especially liked the conga line! A great time was had by all!

Swimming - the best ever!!!

Saturday afternoon we went swimming. It felt amazing not to have to carry around all the baby weight! My only complaint is the silly swimsuit I bought...can't they just make a one-piece with some extra fabric in front and not this silly little dress?? Oh well!

Birthday Weekend!

On my birthday, I had a doctor's appointment at 8:30 am and got to listen to the baby's heart beat. I absolutely love that! Then I had a prenatal massage, where I got to lay down on my tummy, and at this stage in the game feels amazing! Then Chris took me up to Sonoma for my birthday! We stayed 2 blocks away from the downtown square. It was quite fun! We walked to dinner at this great Himalayan restaurant and then went out to ice cream for dessert. The next day we headed up to the winery Chateau St. Jean for some wine tasting...well only for Chris, although I did smell the wines! It was a great little getaway! Here we are at the winery and also the flowers that Chris got me for my birthday.

Happy Birthday to Me!

Today we celebrated my birthday in Chapel at school. My students and room mom brought me cupcakes for my birthday! It was pretty cute! The students were so excited and sang their loudest birthday song ever! I'm really going to miss this class next year when they are in second grade.

Child Birth Class

On Saturday we had our childbirth class. It was quite informative and we learned a lot! I am planning on going as natural as I can...we'll see how that goes. Let's hope this little guy will take it easy on me!
