11 months old today!

Today Caden is 11 months old and is so close to crawling! Here's a glimpse of his progress - if only he could figure out how to go forward! After his good effort, he likes to clap for himself!

First trip to the beach in San Francisco!

Caden and I went to the beach right near our house at Chrissy Field. It was a wonderful sunny day so we took full advantage. (He didn't even try to eat the sand!) I love the setting of these photos, the Golden Gate Bridge in the back and the cutest little guy in San Francisco in the front!

Easter Sunday

We had a nice little family Easter celebration. Went to Church and let Caden "hunt" for eggs! He really liked shaking the eggs and clanging them together!

We decided to dye Easter Eggs right after our visit to the Academy of Sciences. Caden was not interested in the least! Maybe next year...

Academy of Science

We decided that it would be fun to visit the California Academy of Sciences in Golden Gate Park. We also became members that day. We have been back several times since. While we were watching the penguins, Caden was having fun until one of them decided to do a "swim by." At first we thought Caden was laughing, but that quickly turned into tears. Poor guy! Caden loves to watch all the fish in the aquarium part of the museum.
