More Visitors!

This weekend, we had more visitors! Sue, John, Sarah and Chelsea came to visit us on the tail end of their spring break - Sarah and Chelsea were looking at colleges in Cali! What a fun time that is...I loved visiting schools! On Friday, everyone got to come to my school and see a spelling and reading lesson and my kiddo's were great! We went out to dinner at Firefly Friday night and called it a day!

Saturday, Sue and I made my cake for the school auction that night, and got to go for a great walk through the Presidio, it was a beautiful day! We had lunch at Pheasant Pies - a favorite of ours, and then I had to get going down to Palo Alto for the Auction Benefit. My cake sold for $575 - Chris says that was a steal! He wanted to have some of it so badly - he is hilarious when it comes to desserts! The rest of Saturday was spent shopping, a high schooler's dream, and then everyone (minus me) went out to Sushi for dinner at Minako with Nick, Deepti, and Arjun.

Sunday they all had an early flight out of San Jose. Thanks for a great weekend!

Wedding in NY and Sean Penn!

This weekend we flew out to NY for our friend Anjum's wedding. It was a great time! Nick and Deepti, Arjun, Robbie, and Luis were all there too. We stayed at the Dream Hotel - pretty swanky place! When we got to NY on Friday night, we went out to eat and see Anjum at a place called House. It was fun seeing Anjum and catching up over great food and drinks (of course none for me). Saturday was the wedding at the New Leaf Cafe. It was wonderful!

Saturday night after the wedding we went to the Park Plaza hotel where we saw a bar mitzvah with the Pussy Cat Dolls performing - parents must have had to pay a fortune for that! And the most exciting thing of the weekend - we saw SEAN PENN at the Park Plaza hotel Bar! It was crazy and I was definitely starstruck! He was sitting at a table right on the way to the bathroom, and of course being preggo, I just happened to need to go to the bathroom quite often! I'm sure the ladies that were sitting at his table were judging me thinking I was a bad mother to be out so late - but it was really only 10pm west coast time! Maybe I was even talked about in conversation - who knows, or maybe they didn't even see me, I'll never know!!!

On Sunday we went to a Pakistani lunch complete with a bride and groom's side dance off! It was great! I've never seen Anjum so embarrassed!!!

Mom and Bryan's Visit!

We had a great time when Mom and Bryan came down to visit. We went out to eat at some great restaurants, went to prenatal yoga (mom was a good sport) checked out strollers and registered at babies r us, Mom got us a baby glider (huge thanks!), went to church at MPPC to see Heather's choir perform, got to lunch with Heather, George, and Ellis, and then mom came and visited my school for the day! It was quite a fun and eventful trip! Here's a picture of me and mom from the weekend!

What a great time!

Chris's dad came down to visit this last weekend! We had a great time catching up and exploring the city. We hiked around the Cliff House area, which had incredible views of the Golden Gate Bridge. We also enjoyed a very lovely dinner at Greens - it would make becoming a vegetarian pretty easy if all meals were like this one! Here are some pictures from a wonderful weekend.

Wicked!

I think I have a little music lover in my tummy! On Friday we went and saw the musical Wicked at the Orpheum Theater in San Francisco. It was a wonderful performance. This is by far my favorite musical and is right up there with Phantom of the Opera for Chris. The baby was really moving around, he must have been trying to get in a good position to listen!
