Train Town!

We had such a great time up in Sonoma! Train town is such a great place for little ones. We enjoyed our time there very much! We went on the little train which was about a 20 minute tour and we got off the train to feed the goats and see the little town. Then Caden went on a little airplane ride and we all went on the Ferris wheel. Such a fun day! We enjoyed lunch at a great deli/bakery in town and then headed back home. Such a great little adventure!

 Emma and I had a fun tumblebugs class again today! She wore her SFG leotard and matching scrunchie - just like the girls in the Olympics. It was so cute! I love watching her take risks by climbing new and unexplored places at gymnastics. We have a lot of fun!

Emma's First Day of Swimming

We had a great class this morning! Emma loved swimming and I really liked her new teacher, Kyle. She even wore purple goggles and blue fins!

Hungry, Hungry, Hippos!

 We had a fun night after bath time playing Hungry, Hungry, Hippo!  Caden always got the most balls!  It was so much fun to play a game all together.  We have fun together!

Slime!!!

We had a fun afternoon of making and then playing with slime.  We used clear Elmers Gel with some water and borax and mixed it all together in a plastic baggy with a bit of food coloring and voila!  Slime and at least a half hour of fun playtime :)

I love when we pick Caden up from preschool and he and Emma hold hands on the way to the car. It's the little things that give me so much joy! Love these two being so sweet together.

Swim lessons

This evening, Caden had his first swim lesson on his own without a parent in the pool...just him and his teacher with 3 classmates. He swam across the little pool by himself in his swim noodle. It was very impressive! He was even happy to wear his goggles and fins. He is also wearing his earplugs and ear-band because of the tubes in his ears. Yay Caden! Space Shuttle and Soccer

We had soccer this morning and were in for quite an exciting sight!  The Space Shuttle, Endeavor, flew by San Francisco on it's way down to LA.  It was very cool to see the shuttle on top of the 747 jumbo jet.  The Marina was full of people trying to get a look.  Emma had a great class and wore a ponytail - which I think was just sooo adorable!  It's so fun to do hair!

Who knew!?! My kiddos love edamame! Caden had lots of fun getting the beans out of their shells, and Emma just enjoyed eating them once I had shelled them.

First Day of Preschool at Tiny Giants

Today was Caden's first day at Tiny Giants Preschool. He goes to Tiny Giants MWF from 8:45-11:45am. When he arrived, he hugged each teacher...he's such a little love bug! We played puzzles and did some coloring before Emma and I left Caden to enjoy his new school. When we were talking about his new school before bed, (this is our best talking time as he has no where to go and isn't distracted) he told me he wanted to go back right then and also that he likes "Engwish." Sounds like he had a fun day playing with new friends, painting, and trying apples!

Peach and Pear

Tonight, as I was putting Emma to bed, Caden is playing downstairs and I keep hearing his little footsteps going from the playroom to the kitchen. When I come downstairs to check on him...I ask what he's doing, and he says, "eating a peach and pear!" When I ask where they are, he says, "in the fridge." Here is what I saw when I looked in the fridge! Funny guy!!!

Bay Cruise

This morning Caden had soccer, then we headed straight from soccer to pier 39 so we could ride a boat! Recently, Caden has been talking about wanting to go on a boat...so I thought it would be fun to go on a cruise around the bay. We looked online to find the schedule and Caden was very excited to see the boat we were going to ride on. Anyways...we arrive at the pier in perfect timing to get lunch, then get on the boat. I go to reach for my wallet and it isn't there! Ahhh!!! It's at home! We drive back home and grab my wallet, then take off back to the pier. We get to the pier with about 5 minutes before the boat is scheduled to depart. As we cross the bridge from the parking lot, I see the boat is still there and loading people. In order to make it, we have to go down the stairs. I had Emma in the stroller and was bumping her down the stairs...she wasn't enjoying this, and a very nice man and his wife saw me struggle and helped carry Emma in the stroller down the stairs! I thank him profusely and we are the last ones to board the boat. Anyways...we made it and had a great time on the boat! Emma has crazy sea legs and was walking all around on the boat. We saw the sea lions, sailed under the golden gate bridge and around Alcatraz. We even saw two dolphins jump by the side of the boat! Caden loved going up and down the stairs exploring the boat. A super fun, yet crazy morning!

Hula Hoop Fun!

We had a great afternoon playing with our new hula hoops from Sports Basement! Caden loved chasing the hoop and Emma girl loved to run around and go through her hoop.

First Day of "Little Bugs"

Emma attended her first day of gymnastics! She was the only one in her class today and had the full attention of her teacher and mama! It was the first day of class in a brand new building...we were lucky to have the gym to ourselves. Emma loved exploring and climbing everywhere. She also walked across the balance beam several times and loved running on the long trampoline - just like Caden did at her age! She even held onto the rings and was swinging back and forth. So fun and amazing to watch our little climber navigate a safe place to play!
