Chris and I have been planning this vacation for a long time - or I should say Chris has (as he is the one who plans things around here!) We decided to take a week long vacation without the kiddos. We had a wonderful time together and missed our little munchkins (but they were being watched by the moms, so we knew they were having fun too!) We went SCUBA diving in Palau. It is an island known for great diving in the Pacific. The diving was absolutely amazing - the best we've ever seen! The coral was so vibrant and the sea life was fantastic - we saw lots of turtles, reef sharks, barracuda, nudibranches, schools of amazing fish, etc. We dived in the Blue Hole, Blue Corner, Nerchong inside and outside, New Drop Off, and Jake Sea Plane. We only rented a camera on our first day - it was too much of a bother, so the rest of the diving lives in our memories...We were focused on "finding Nemo" for the kiddos. Lots of pictures from this tropical paradise! Enjoy!
Sour Sop - an amazing tropical fruit found only in Palau. I loved it! It had such a wonderful tropical flavor.
Breakfast at our resort - getting ready for our first dive
Our diving boats - stopped at an island for lunch
Not a bad lunch view!
