We had a lovely Baptism for Emma at our church this evening at 5:30. Our Pastor Bruce has been called to do something else and so this was his last baptism at our church. It was a beautiful service and Emma did great. She even wore the same dress I wore when I was baptized. (My grandmother made the dress for my sisters and I) A very special moment.

Laying hands on Emma and praying

Pastor Bruce does a walk around the Church after he baptized Emma and shows her to the congregation - I think this is a neat tradition (while the congregation sang "I was there to hear your borning cry").
