This weekend we flew out to NY for our friend Anjum's wedding. It was a great time! Nick and Deepti, Arjun, Robbie, and Luis were all there too. We stayed at the Dream Hotel - pretty swanky place! When we got to NY on Friday night, we went out to eat and see Anjum at a place called House. It was fun seeing Anjum and catching up over great food and drinks (of course none for me). Saturday was the wedding at the New Leaf Cafe. It was wonderful!
Saturday night after the wedding we went to the Park Plaza hotel where we saw a bar mitzvah with the Pussy Cat Dolls performing - parents must have had to pay a fortune for that! And the most exciting thing of the weekend - we saw SEAN PENN at the Park Plaza hotel Bar! It was crazy and I was definitely starstruck! He was sitting at a table right on the way to the bathroom, and of course being preggo, I just happened to need to go to the bathroom quite often! I'm sure the ladies that were sitting at his table were judging me thinking I was a bad mother to be out so late - but it was really only 10pm west coast time! Maybe I was even talked about in conversation - who knows, or maybe they didn't even see me, I'll never know!!!On Sunday we went to a Pakistani lunch complete with a bride and groom's side dance off! It was great! I've never seen Anjum so embarrassed!!!
